Implementation process

Fast, Focused Implementation for Success

Our streamlined implementation process ensures your buildings are up and running with KODE OS quickly, with clear milestones and dedicated support at every stage.

  • Phase I: Kickoff and Planning

    1 week

We understand that not all buildings are the same. The project begins with a structured kickoff where goals, requirements, and a detailed project plan are established for your particular asset type. This phase sets the foundation for a smooth implementation and ensures alignment between all stakeholders.

    Phase I encompasses:

    Checkpoint

Kickoff complete, project plan finalized, and alignment achieved.

  • Phase II: Network Connection and API Integrations

    1 week

This phase focuses on establishing the technical groundwork by connecting building networks and integrating necessary APIs. These steps ensure seamless data flow and platform functionality.

    Phase II encompasses:

    Checkpoint

Network connections established, and all APIs successfully integrated.

  • Phase III: Graphics and Device Discovery

    1-2 weeks

During this phase, devices are onboarded, and essential visualizations like floorplans and system graphics are created. This ensures data is captured and presented in a user-friendly format.

    Phase III encompasses:

    Checkpoint

Devices added, data collection initiated, and graphics completed.

  • Phase IV: Data Normalization and Module Activation

    1-2 weeks

This phase involves organizing data and activating modules tailored to the project’s goals. It ensures the platform is fully operational and aligned with the client’s needs.

    Phase IV encompasses:

    Checkpoint

Data normalized and modules activated for operational use.

  • Phase V: Handover and Training

2 weeks (or per client requirement)

The handover phase ensures a smooth transition by training end users and providing a comprehensive overview of the platform. Adjustments are made as necessary to align with client expectations.

    Phase V encompasses:

    Checkpoint

Training completed and platform handed over to the client.

  • Phase VI: Ongoing Support

Post-implementation, ongoing support guarantees long-term success. Regular meetings, updates, and feature rollouts keep the system optimized and users informed.

    Phase VI encompasses:

    Checkpoint

Support strategy in place, ensuring ongoing client satisfaction.

Digital Cx and Optimized Start Stop are the main sources of energy savings at Thurlow

Thurlow’s main goal was to transform it’s building operations that would allow them to offer amazing experiences to everyone interacting with Thurlow, reduce maintenance costs and save energy in the long run.

28000 points integrated

78000 equipment runtime hours saved in a 6-month period

3000 devices tested in a 6-month period

OSS extends equipment lifecycles by over one year by reducing runtime on a daily basis, thus eliminating the need for over a year of equipment replacement ($3.4M total cost of replacement) from runtime savings alone.

ESRT 2.0 and the Empire State Building

The Empire State Realty Trust, one of the most successful Real Estate companies in New York City, with the iconic Empire State Building under its ownership, embarked on a new digital transformation venture that redefines the functions of the buildings in their portfolio and sets new standards in smart building management and sustainability.

30 systems across nine buildings

KODE OS is being used as a way to actively monitor G36 compliance as upgrades of the building’s controls are being implemented, equipping the ESRT team with real-time insights as their buildings are getting greener.
