KODE Labs partners with global real estate giant Hines and other tech collaborators to revolutionize property management. By implementing KODE OS, they’re enhancing client experiences across Hines’ worldwide properties, starting with eight North American buildings this fall. KODE OS’s integration of building systems into a unified platform promises to standardize operations, optimize energy use, and lay a foundation for innovative PropTech collaboration.
With buildings and reach across the globe, Hines, the global real estate investment, development, and property management firm, has taken their property management strategy to a next level by introducing KODE to tie its technology stack. KODE OS was chosen for its vendor-agnostic and scalable architecture that integrates disparate building systems, utilities, and IoT to a single source of truth. Hence, unifying and standardizing their global building operations and unlocking optimization and energy savings opportunities.
Initially, Hines is deploying KODE OS this fall at eight buildings across five cities in North America at Salesforce Tower in Chicago; 1144 15th Street in Denver; 717 Texas Ave in Houston; the Kearns Building in Salt Lake City; CIBC Square, T3 Bayside and two buildings at T3 Sterling Road in Toronto, Canada. Hines plans to begin adding more locations later in 2023.
“Our primary objective is to deliver a seamless and autonomous experience for everyone in the Hines environment. We have done our due diligence over the past 12 months and KODE OS platform significantly outperformed the competition by a wide margin. Its ability to standardize our client experience across our global properties and lay the data foundation for orchestrating new use cases as needed makes it a no-brainer for us. ”, said Ilene Goldfine, Chief Strategy Officer at Hines.
KODE OS makes it easy to access data across the buildings and regions by integrating all forms of building management, IoT, and operational systems into a single source of truth, with applications that reduce energy and carbon emissions. The platform also operates and orchestrates amazing experiences for the people that live, work, visit and play in the built environment.
We’re hard core believers that the PropTech industry needs open collaboration to drive innovation and make a meaningful impact. At Hines, there is a true team effort along with HqO, SwiftConnect to revolutionize how people experience the spaces they interact with at scale, and this is just the beginning. KODE OS is the core application layer laying the foundation by collecting, normalizing and orchestrating all data so that different use cases can be enabled and streamlined for tenants.
