In February, we introduced three exciting new integrations to our API library, designed to make your buildings smarter and more efficient. Explore new capabilities in occupancy, work orders, and updates to our existing APIs.

The Butlr API is a GraphQL-based interface that provides real-time occupancy insights, including people count, heat-maps, zone data, and sensor metadata. It offers seamless access to Butlr’s intelligent sensor data, enabling precise tracking and analysis of space utilization for smarter, data-driven decisions.

What it can do:

  • Tracks real-time occupancy with traffic sensors
  • Monitors sensor connectivity for system reliability
  • Provides occupancy counts by floor, room, and zone
  • Detects movement for security and energy efficiency

The Webex API seamlessly integrates Webex’s advanced communication and environmental monitoring capabilities into KODE OS. It provides real-time insights on occupancy, air quality, temperature, sound levels, and device connectivity, enhancing workspace efficiency and user experience.

What it can do:

  • Detects people presence using real-time sensor data
  • Monitors air quality by measuring total volatile organic compounds (TVOC)
  • Tracks device connectivity for system reliability
  • Measures ambient temperature for climate control and monitoring
  • Analyzes sound levels to assess acoustic conditions
  • Detects ambient noise for enhanced audio management
  • Monitors humidity levels to optimize indoor air quality
  • Tracks people count while respecting privacy settings
  • Detects device power states (Standby, Entering Standby, Halfwake, or Off) for energy efficiency

Updated APIs

The Avigilon API has been updated and can now pull building occupancy data.

The Avigilon CCTV upgrade enables seamless retrieval of traffic and occupancy data for individual sites via Avigilon CCTV, providing valuable real-time insights for enhanced monitoring and decision-making.

The Wohr API has been updated for the Bay Status. The requested API enhancement enriches MQTT communication by providing distinct status differentiation between “Bay with a Bike” and “Blocked Bay (with a bike).” This improvement ensures greater accuracy in real-time monitoring, optimizing operational efficiency and decision-making.
