Can you believe it’s already the end of the year?
2025 moved at lightning speed! For KODE, it marked one of the most transformative years in our journey. This edition of KODE Wrapped is about celebrating what we built together with our users, clients, and partners, and the KODE team behind the scenes who turned bold ideas into real, usable outcomes.
More importantly, it’s a look at how far the KODE OS, and the team behind it, has come and how much more is now possible.
This year, we focused on one clear ambition: operating more efficiently than ever while preparing portfolios and the teams that run them for the future.
That means expanding KODE OS into a platform that:
The pace tells its own story:

But the real impact isn’t the volume. It’s what they enable.
One of our biggest focus areas in 2025 was AI readiness, not as a future concept, but as a practical foundation every building needs now.
AI doesn’t work on messy, fragmented, or untrusted data. So we spent the year doing the hard work first.
In 2025, KODE OS became the only platform purpose-built to normalize, correlate, and structure building data for AI use, across systems, assets, and portfolios.
During the year, we delivered the core building blocks required to make buildings truly AI-ready:
Why this matters? Most platforms talk about AI. Very few are actually preparing your buildings for it. If your data isn’t structured and connected, AI won’t help you.

What’s coming next? In 2026, this foundation expands into:

If you’re already on KODE OS, your buildings are ready. If not, this is the gap you don’t want to discover too late.
The second major focus of 2025 was operations, giving facility, engineering, and portfolio management teams tools that actually reduce workload and increase efficiency, instead of adding more dashboards.
This year wasn’t about “more features”. It was about making daily work faster, smarter, and more connected.
Some of the operations and asset management highlights for us were:
What’s coming next:
Operations are no longer reactive. And it’s no longer disconnected from data.
CRE teams can now create, assign, track, and close work orders directly in KODE OS, from preventive maintenance and inspections to corrective actions.
Even better: Work orders can be triggered directly from Fault Detection & Diagnostics (FDD) and Digital Commissioning (FTT), so the team can act while context is fresh and up to date.
Additional CRE capabilities delivered in 2025:
If your maintenance workflows still live in spreadsheets or disconnected CMMS tools, you’re leaving speed, insight and money on the table.
Retail operations changed pace in 2025. KODE OS introduced true fleet level control, enabling teams to:
New retail specific capabilities include:
Retail moves fast. Your store operations should too.
In 2025, we introduced the asset governance foundation, because optimization, reporting, and AI all depend on one thing: trustworthy assets.
KODE OS now enables organizations to:
Additional corporate insights delivered:
You can’t optimize what you can’t trust. And you can’t scale what you can’t govern.
These product advancements, combined with the largest expansion of our integrations library to date, made 2025 a year of scale.
If you’re a KODE client or partner, this progress reflects your ambition as much as ours. If you’re only using part of the platform, there’s still a significant amount of value left to unlock.

If you checked fewer than three, you’re likely leaving material ROI on the table. Let’s fix that in early 2026.
Trust remains non-negotiable. In 2025, KODE achieved SOC 2 Type II certification, validating our controls around security and data protection.
Looking ahead, we are initiating our path towards FedRAMP High and DoD Impact Level 5 (IL) while we continue to make cyber security the number one priority through many initiatives.
Security isn’t an add-on. It’s foundational to everything we build.
This year, the KODE community continued to grow, not just in size, but in depth. In 2025, we:
What stands out most isn’t the numbers, it’s how teams are using KODE OS: moving faster, working smarter, and pushing beyond “pilot mode” into global operational scale.
And if you’re reading this, know we are not anywhere near done yet!
In 2025, we welcomed 80+ exceptional people to KODE Labs. Engineers, problem solvers, strategists, and operators who are helping us scale, innovate, and win.
This wasn’t growth for growth’s sake. It was about bringing in the right talent at the right time: people who thrive in fast-moving environments, take ownership, learn fast, and aren’t afraid of hard problems. People who don’t just execute, but rather elevate.

As we head into 2026 with ambitious goals ahead, we’re doing it with the strongest team we’ve ever had. We’re not just growing in numbers. We’re building the team that will define the next chapter of smart building intelligence.
Behind every successful deployment is a team that knows how to execute. In 2025, our implementation teams delivered over 2,500 building deployments, bringing full command and control capabilities and advanced operational intelligence to portfolios around the world.
Through continuous refinement of our playbooks and tooling, we’ve reached a point where we can truly “print smart buildings like paper.” Entire portfolios can be onboarded in days, not months, without compromising quality, consistency, or outcomes.
This level of speed and scale isn’t accidental. It’s the result of years of system design, operational discipline, and deep domain expertise.
And it’s one of the reasons our clients don’t just pilot buildings, they scale them.
2025 was also about showing up. We spent the year meeting our community face-to-face, travelling globally, attending industry events, hosting conversations, and creating space to connect beyond the platform.
This year we connected at:

One highlight of the year was our London Happy Hour, co-hosted with King’s Cross, where we brought together clients, partners, and industry peers for an evening of open conversation and connection. It wasn’t about presentations or pitches, just real discussions around smart buildings, shared challenges, and where the industry is heading next. Moments like these remind us that behind every platform and every building, there’s a community driving change together.
These moments matter. They shape how we build, how we listen, and how we move forward together. Connecting in person fuels our mission, and reminds us who we’re building for.
If 2025 was about building the foundation, 2026 is about unlocking what that foundation makes possible.
We’re entering the next phase of KODE OS with:
And then there’s the big one: AI Agents

In 2026, KODE OS will introduce intelligent agents that operate directly within the platform, helping teams surface insights, automate actions, and move faster with confidence. You’ll be able to use KODE-built agents or create your own, connecting them to the AI tools your organization already relies on.
Everything we highlighted in this year’s Wrapped, data normalization, asset governance, operational workflows, AI readiness, was built with this moment in mind.
And for teams already on KODE OS, the groundwork is done.
If you’re not using the full platform yet, 2026 is your opportunity to change that. And if you don’t want to wait, we’d love to give you a preview of what’s coming.
From all of us at KODE Labs, we wish you a wonderful holiday season and a happy, healthy New Year. Thank you for your trust, your partnership, and your commitment to building a smarter future together.
Happy Holidays.
