August introduces a set of KODE OS enhancements designed to make that easier—helping teams manage work more reliably at scale, identify where attention is needed, and turn energy and operational data into insights they can trust and use.

Here’s what shipped, grouped around the outcomes it delivers.
EnerG is strengthening the foundation behind portfolio performance analysis with Enhanced Baselines and Normalized Performance.
Teams can define consistent baseline periods, assess whether buildings and service types have sufficient data, normalize eligible performance for factors such as weather, and understand why individual models pass or fail before normalized results are published.
Approved normalized data can then be used consistently across EnerG KPIs, portfolio rankings, benchmarking, dashboards, exports, and BI rather than creating conflicting views of performance.

Raw consumption doesn’t always tell the whole story.
Weather and changing building conditions can make a property appear to improve or deteriorate even when operations haven’t materially changed. A governed normalization workflow gives energy teams a more meaningful way to compare performance and explain the results.
AssetOps now gives regional and portfolio teams a faster way to identify where maintenance backlogs are forming.
A new Region filter and Overdue Only view work across the Operations Dashboard, Work Orders, and Schedules, allowing teams to scope metrics and work lists to specific regions and immediately isolate overdue activity.
Historical trends also give leadership greater visibility into work volume, completion rates, planned work, and average time to close.

AssetOps is introducing a new batch-processing framework that evaluates bulk updates item by item. If one record cannot be processed, valid items can continue rather than causing the entire operation to fail.
The new architecture expands bulk capabilities across work orders, schedules, task templates, and assets.
For example, teams can bulk-complete or update work orders, change schedule settings across multiple records, and remove unnecessary task templates without repeating the same action individually.
A centralized seven-day history shows who initiated each batch, how many records succeeded or failed, and allows users to export error information for items requiring attention.

Large operational changes no longer have to be all-or-nothing.
Teams can move through high-volume administrative work faster, isolate problems when they occur, and spend less time repeating successful updates because a single record failed.
August brings one of the most substantial sets of EnerG enhancements yet, expanding the platform across budgeting, utility rates, normalization, data uploads, exports, and reporting.
EnerG budgeting is expanding from a primarily building-level workflow into a more complete portfolio management experience.
The new Portfolio Budget Overview brings budget, actual spend, variance, accruals, and status together across selected buildings while allowing teams to analyze performance by utility service.
Building-level dashboards also break performance down by electric, gas, water, steam, and other configured utilities.
What It Matters
Teams can move beyond simply knowing that a portfolio is over or under budget.
They can identify which buildings are off track, which services are responsible, and what underlying budget or accrual values are contributing to the result.
Consolidated exports further eliminate the need to download and manually merge separate budget files.
AA new Blended Rate Analysis experience helps teams understand the effective rate they’re paying for each utility and how that rate is changing over time.
Monthly blended rates are shown alongside a trailing twelve-month rate trend, with comparisons to the previous month and prior year.
Users can analyze each service type independently and reference historical monthly rates for validation and comparison.

When utility costs rise, consumption isn’t necessarily the reason.
Blended Rate Analysis helps teams distinguish changes in effective utility pricing from changes in usage, giving energy and finance teams greater context around cost movement, budgeting, procurement, and future rate analysis.
EnerG’s CSV upload workflow now provides more guidance before data enters the platform and greater transparency once processing begins.
Official templates, field references, column mapping, processing statuses, and row-level error information help users understand exactly what a file requires and whether every record was processed successfully.

Historical utility data shouldn’t require trial and error to upload correctly.
Clearer requirements and precise error feedback reduce failed imports, manual troubleshooting, and uncertainty around whether an uploaded dataset is actually complete.
Export capabilities are expanding across EnerG dashboards, charts, tables, emissions, budgets, and certifications.
Supported views now provide page-level Excel exports that reflect the filters, reporting period, service types, and portfolio or building scope already selected on screen.
