In May, we rolled out multiple new APIs and introduced updates to three existing ones, expanding capabilities across work order management, metering, project tracking, and more.

From granular energy tracking to work order integrations, these enhancements help teams drive smarter building operations at every level.

The Nalco API offers a powerful interface for accessing configuration and time-series measurement data from the ECOLAB3D platform. With flexible filtering and streamlined endpoints, it enables precise data extraction for analysis, reporting, and system integration.

What it can do:

  • Pull detailed asset mappings, measurement points, and metadata for configuration management.
  • Extract time-series measurement data using date ranges and measurement IDs.
  • Apply advanced filters to refine data sets.
  • Support custom analytics and reporting across environmental and process data streams.

The Sapient API enables real-time and historical access to granular energy usage data, helping users monitor, analyze, and optimize electricity consumption across their portfolio. With secure authentication and flexible endpoints, it supports seamless integration into existing building systems.

What it can do:

  • Retrieve device-level energy data for each monitored load.
  • Aggregate circuit-level inputs into virtual devices to reflect equipment-level energy usage.
  • Support custom energy mapping per site based on user-defined logic.
  • Enable integration health monitoring for data source availability, credential issues, and API performance.
  • Provide portfolio, building, and equipment-level insights for smarter energy decisions.

The Cove Work Order API is a secure GraphQL interface for managing work orders, enabling seamless integration with KODE OS. With real-time access to service data and flexible query capabilities, it streamlines operations and enhances visibility across portfolios.

What it can do:

  • Create, update, and query work orders with secure JWT-based authentication.
  • View grouped work orders by building and status.
  • Track ticket volumes by category (e.g., HVAC, Security) and by tenant.
  • Generate work orders directly from KODE OS.
  • Receive alerts for stalled tickets and upcoming inspections.
  • Integrate calendar views for scheduled tickets and inspections.

The IBM Maximo API provides a cloud-based interface for planning, tracking, and reporting facilities maintenance. It enables real-time work order data exchange and advanced operational insights for property teams.

What it can do:

  • Read and create work orders in Maximo via GET and POST endpoints.
  • Analyze work order trends over time using creation and status data.
  • Visualize work orders by location with building map heatmaps.
  • Identify common work order types and frequency.
  • Track work distribution by team, owner, or crew.
  • Measure time spent by category using actual start/finish timestamps.
  • Evaluate SLA compliance by comparing report and completion dates.
  • Filter work order trends by location or asset type.

Updated APIs

We updated the occupancy type in Envelo to provide more accurate space classifications, enabling clearer insights into how areas are used across your portfolio.

We introduced a new point, Partition State, allowing teams to monitor and manage room configurations more effectively based on movable wall positions.

We updated the Device Name in Prolojik to ensure clearer identification and easier management of lighting system components across your building network.
