In August, we rolled out four new API integrations and delivered enhancements to three existing ones — unlocking deeper insights into lighting, access control, and parking management.

Occupancy

Through this integration, users can retrieve the current number of people, occupancy levels, and percentages for specific areas, as well as search for in/out movement data over defined date ranges. The API also supports filtering by count zone types such as Entrance, Washroom, Flow, Cross Over, and Level Transition—enabling detailed occupancy insights tailored to operational and analytical needs.

What it can do:

  • Get the current occupancy information for a specific area, including the current number of people, occupancy level, and percentage.
  • Search for the number of ins and outs within a specified date range for a particular site.
  • Filter the search results by a specific count zone type, such as ‘Entrance’, ‘Washroom’, ‘Flow’, ‘Cross Over’, or ‘Level Transition’.

Lighting

The Helvar API provides access to lighting fixture runtime, consumption, power, and energy usage data, along with alarm and fault information—enabling real-time monitoring, performance tracking, and proactive maintenance of lighting systems.Through this integration, users can retrieve the current number of people, occupancy levels, and percentages for specific areas, as well as search for in/out movement data over defined date ranges.

What it can do:

  • See data on lighting fixture runtime and alarm/fault data
  • Review lighting consumption data & energy usage

Lighting & Access Control

The SmartCore API enables mobile control of lighting in shared spaces and meeting rooms, supports personalized lux levels, and detects fixture failures with automated maintenance alerts. It also integrates with security dashboards to monitor door status (locked/unlocked, open/closed) and provides fire door tampering notifications—enhancing comfort, safety, and operational efficiency.

What it can do:

  • Remote controlling of lights from the mobile app
  • Remote adjustment of lighting in meeting rooms from the mobile app
  • Sensor on light fixture to identify when fixture has failed and automatically send failure notification to maintenance provider/ops team
  • Automated emergency lighting functional testing
  • Failure notification of building security sent automatically to service cloud to maintenance provider/ops teams.
  • Off site remote monitoring of spaces, automated access controls and intruder detection, and correlation of incident video evidence

Parking Management

The JustPark API provides access to parking lot data, allowing KODE BBI to display real-time availability and occupancy. It supports detailed information on parking types—such as disabled or regular spots—helping optimize parking management and improve user experience.

What it can do:

  • View real-time parking availability and type of the parking spot directly from KODE OS

Updated APIs

Access Control

The Milesight integration has been updated to enhance device payload support and ensure accurate data mapping across all clients by adding 3 new fields to enhance API’s performance.

Parking Management

The Impark API integration has been improved to support better data structuring and consistency across all clients. A new schema field has been introduced at the Connector Level and is now utilized within the Repository to ensure standardized handling of Impark-specific data fields.

Occupancy

The XY Sense API now includes Sensor Connection Status for monitoring online/offline states and Space Sensor–Floor Space associations for mapping sensors to specific area, enhancing visibility and data integration.
