March at KODE was all about scale, control, and visibility.

This month, we focused on making KODE OS easier to configure, faster to deploy across portfolios, and more powerful for managing data, maintenance, and integrations at scale.

From Building BI enhancements to deeper AssetOps controls and expanded integrations, these updates are designed to reduce friction and improve how teams operate day to day.

Here’s what shipped.

Faster Configuration, Stronger Governance, Smarter Dashboards

March brings a series of upgrades that make dashboards easier to build, deploy, and maintain across portfolios.

WHAT’S NEW?

Copy & Paste Widget Styles

Apply styling across widgets in seconds, reducing repetitive configuration and ensuring visual consistency.

Sample Data Preview in Data Sources

Preview data directly within the data source setup to validate structure and accuracy before building dashboards.

Enhanced Graphic View

Graphics now dynamically respond to filters and interact with other widgets, keeping dashboards aligned without manual updates.

Bulk Deploy & Sync Improvements

All connected dashboard deployments now sync automatically with a single source of truth. Users can also deploy to multiple collections at once.

Dynamic Units (Metric Axis)

Units (prefix/suffix) can now adapt based on data, eliminating manual adjustments when deploying dashboards across buildings.

Color Palette Management (WCAG Aligned)

Standardize and reuse color palettes across dashboards to ensure consistency and accessibility.

Non-Intrusive Tooltips

Hover-based guidance across fields reduces guesswork and speeds up dashboard setup.

WHY IT MATTERS?
  • Faster dashboard creation and deployment
  • Reduced manual rework across buildings
  • Stronger governance and consistency at scale
  • Improved usability for both new and advanced users

More Control, Better Compliance, Portfolio-Scale Operations

AssetOps continues to evolve into a fully governed, portfolio-level maintenance system.

WHAT’S NEW?

Dynamic Roles, Permissions & Constraints

Granular control over who can view, edit, and complete work orders, with time-based locks, type-based rules, and enforced workflows.

Schedule Configuration & Portfolio Operations

Clear execution summaries, asset-status gating, and bulk updates across schedules and work orders.

Task Management at Scale

Import, update, and organize task libraries by Asset Type using Excel and in-platform bulk actions.

Work Order UX & Attachments

Improved creation workflows with attachments, intuitive actions, automatic status updates, and clearer parent-child relationships.

WHY IT MATTERS?
  • Stronger compliance and auditability
  • Better coordination across teams and sites
  • Faster portfolio-wide updates and planning
  • Reduced manual effort and fewer configuration errors

More Flexible, Faster Workflows

Cloud BMS continues to expand with enhancements that make data access, bulk actions, and navigation more efficient at scale.

WHAT’S NEW?

Comprehensive Timeseries Export

Export time-series data from Trends, Device Details, and System views for deeper analysis and external collaboration.

Mass Write Improvements

Enhanced filtering, search, grouped selection, and job execution, making large-scale updates faster and easier to manage.

Device Details Customization

Admins can tailor views, hide unnecessary data, and define default navigation for a cleaner, more focused user experience.

WHY IT MATTERS?
  • Easier data access for analysis and reporting
  • Faster execution of large-scale updates
  • Cleaner, more relevant user interfaces

Expanding Sustainability & Utility Intelligence

EnerG continues to grow with new capabilities that extend utility intelligence and support broader emissions tracking.

WHAT’S NEW?

Refrigerants & Fugitive Emissions Tracking

You can now track refrigerant usage and losses within buildings, including emissions factor calculations.

WHY IT MATTERS?
  • Improved carbon and emissions reporting
  • Better alignment with sustainability and ESG initiatives
  • Expanded visibility into non-energy emissions sources

Easier Setup, Better Debugging

We’ve continued improving the connector onboarding and troubleshooting experience.

WHAT’S NEW?
  • Step-by-step onboarding with dynamic ID discovery
  • Clear, human-readable error categorization
  • Data stream analytics with live updates
  • Exportable logs for troubleshooting
WHY IT MATTERS?
  • Faster onboarding of new data sources
  • Improved transparency into data health
  • Reduced integration support overhead
Coming in April: Asset Linking

We’re introducing a new Asset Linking module that allows teams to identify, review, and merge duplicate or related assets, creating a single source of truth across schedules, graphics, and tasks.

March expanded our integration layer with new security, energy, and workplace system integrations, improving visibility and data coverage across portfolios. Read about them here.

KODE OS connects building systems, data, and workflows into one unified platform, giving your teams (and AI) the context needed to move faster, make better decisions, and drive measurable results.
