Detroit, Michigan – October 28, 2025 – KODE Labs announced that Security and Engineering Executive Carl Gill has joined the company as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). The company also confirmed that, as of September 23, 2025, it has completed the SOC 2 Type II with an independent CPA attestation in accordance with the AICPA’s Trust Services Criteria (TSC).

The SOC 2 Type II attestation builds on KODE’s prior Type I report and reflects the company’s continued investment in a secure, reliable, and compliant operating environment for clients. Clients and prospects can request the latest SOC 2 Type II report (under NDA) and review KODE’s security posture via the KODE Trust Center.

These developments demonstrate the company’s ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest standards of security, availability, and confidentiality, ensuring that clients’ data is protected with transparency.

In line with this commitment, Carl, a former Armis deputy CISO, brings more than 15 years of experience leading security, engineering, and cloud programs across high-compliance environments. He specializes in building secure, automated infrastructures that allow fast-growing organizations to scale efficiently.

At KODE, Carl will lead global security and infrastructure initiatives focused on:

  • Achieving FedRAMP Moderate authorization to expand U.S. federal market access.
  • Advancing a company-wide rollout of Zero Trust / SASE architecture.
  • Building a World-Class Transparent Trust Program, a customer-centric model that makes security visibility and accountability part of the product experience itself.

With Carl’s leadership, KODE is bringing Security, DevOps, and Infrastructure together into a cohesive DevSecOps ecosystem. This approach embeds trust, compliance, and automation into the DNA of every deployment, resulting in a platform that scales globally with security built in, not bolted on.

“Bringing Carl on board as our CISO is a strategic move to build on our strong foundation of security and prepare for our next phase of global growth. We’ve always prioritized security, as evidenced by our SOC 2 Type II attestation and the trust our enterprise clients place in us across demanding verticals, including finance, commercial real estate, retail, and healthcare.

As our operations expand beyond the U.S. and Canada, into the U.K., Europe, Australia, and South Africa, we need dedicated leadership to manage our global security and infrastructure. A key driver for bringing Carl on now is to spearhead our Gov Cloud program and lead our FedRAMP certification. His leadership is critical to ensuring that as we scale, our platform remains enterprise-ready,” said Gentrit Gojani, co-founder and CTO of KODE Labs.

“My career has always bridged engineering and security, while designing systems that let companies move fast without losing control. At KODE, I get to apply that experience to build a security program grounded in transparency and customer trust. Our mission isn’t just to manage risk; it’s to make that trust measurable and visible as we scale into an AI-driven, globally connected future.” – Carl Gill, CISO of KODE Labs.
