In September, we rolled out 2 new API integrations and delivered enhancements to five existing ones — unlocking deeper insights into property management, access control, and parking management.

CCTV

The ExacqVision API offers seamless integration of live and recorded video, camera and server health data, and event-driven notifications into third-party platforms.

Top use cases for KODE users:

  • Overlay live/recorded video with alarms, occupancy, or access events for quick triage and evidence review.
  • Monitor camera/server health, trigger automated tickets, and track SLA performance across portfolios.

Property Management

The Visitt API enables partners to programmatically access and manage property-related data, such as buildings, locations, tenants, reviews, and work orders, through queries and mutations. It supports authentication, rate limits, sandbox testing, file uploads, and webhook-based event notifications for seamless integration.

Top use cases for KODE users:

  • Sync tenants and work orders to keep building teams aligned and give stakeholders one place to track progress.
  • Pipe reviews and work-order metrics into KODE dashboards for trend analysis and service-quality insights.

Updated APIs

Indoor Environmental Quality

Extend the existing Ecobee API integration within KODE OS to support the full range of data points available for Thermostat devices. This involves implementing discovery, data collection, and write functionalities as detailed below.

Occupancy

Added mechanism to check periodically if data source is connected to webhook.

Occupancy

Update the communication protocol to Webhook Pt. 2

Parking Management

Update JustPark API to fetch all available occupancy points

Lighting Management

Add ‘OK’ enum for Fault Reason
